The function of digging machine supporting sprocket is to maintain the linear movement of the chain track. If the supporting sprocket is damaged, the caterpillar can not keep the straight line walking, which will inevitably affect the work efficiency. What is the reason for the damage of the sprocket? We should pay attention to how to extend the use of the sprocket.

1，Avoid the sprocket from soaking in the mud.

2，Usually keep the X-frame inclined platform clean, do not let the soil and gravel pile up too much hinder the rotation of the bracket sprocket.

3，In winter, we must keep the wheel dry, because there is a floating seal between the outer wheel and shaft of the wheel, if there is water at night will form ice, and then move the excavator, floating seal and ice contact will be scratched, causing oil leakage.

4，If the upper roller is often damaged, it may be related to the habit of digging. When the digger moves forward, the motor is in front and the guide wheel is in the rear, the upper part of the track is tense, the lower part is relaxed, and the bracket sprocket is stressed heavily. If the digger walks in this way for a long time, the bracket sprocket will be more easily damaged; on the contrary, the service life of the bracket sprocket can be prolonged.

5,  The use of poor quality bolts or sprockets can easily cause the sprocket to fall or damage. It is recommended that the best quality sprocket should be used in the replacement.
